I don’t have time to comment on it now, but
this important essay by
Dr. Christian Brugger, arguing that contracepted sex does
not suffice to consummate Christian marriage, deserves a wide and careful reading. I hope to offer some more thoughts on the matter later; for now, I just think that folks interested in current canonical issues should be aware of this developing theory.
